Below you will find details about our 2 bed/ 2 bath home, Inga’s Quiet Sail Bay Home, in Pacific Beach.

This contemporary townhouse has a wonderful ambience and layout! It is bright and feels very spacious with its high ceilings, skylights and clerestory windows, modern decor, and open floor plan. The unit was recently upgraded with hardwood floors, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances and central A/C, a rarity in coastal San Diego! It is tastefully decorated and contains many luxury features, including a fully equipped kitchen with a large assortment of quality kitchenware so you can cook and bake just as you do at home. Family members and friends can use the breakfast bar while you prepare meals, or you can enjoy a sit down meal at the dining table which seats 6. At the end of the day you can relax and enjoy sitting down in front of the cozy fireplace and listen to your own tunes using the bluetooth stereo connection, or to watch a movie or your favorite TV show from the premium movie channel selection. Netflix or other streaming channels are also available if you have an account. 
 
The master bedroom has a king bed with a memory foam mattress, an HD 37" flat screen TV, and a full en-suite bathroom. The upstairs bedroom features a twin bed over a full size bunk bed with memory foam mattresses and a full size sofa bed to accommodate a variety of sleeping arrangements. There is also sufficient space to use the toddler cot, or rentable pack n play as desired. The upstairs bedroom has an HD 32" flat-screen TV and DVD combination player, so the kids can watch a movie upstairs while you have cocktails or quiet time in the living room. Both bathrooms have granite countertop sinks, travertine tiles in the bath/shower, and extra large shower heads.
 
And last but not least, the owners made this house very family-friendly. They have traveled a lot with their children since they were babies and understand the little things that make a vacation home work well, especially if you need to fly and have limited luggage space! The house is equipped with many child-friendly features to make your stay as comfortable as possible, such as a variety of toys, games, children's books, coloring materials, night lights, plastic plates/cups/bowls, a step stool, balls, beach toys, humidifier, and toddler sleeping cot. A high chair, jogging stroller and/or pack n play crib can be provided at an additional rental cost.
 
This vacation home is situated on the quieter East side of beautiful Sail Bay (the loveliest part of Mission Bay)! Yet, you are only 12 minutes from San Diego's bustling downtown historic Gaslamp area with its fine dining, 1.5 miles from SeaWorld, and within 15 minutes from the lovely Balboa Park with the famous San Diego Zoo. So, you can have it all!

Across the street on the boardwalk you will find people riding bikes, skating, jogging, and just strolling at leisure. Take a stroll or ride our 2 provided beach cruiser bikes around the bay and if you like, cross over to Mission Beach with its wide boardwalk to watch the surfers or catch a glimpse of the green flash at sunset.

*NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Please review your rental agreement for complete details and rules about your home!

If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All of our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.

With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and our business unlike any other!

We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a ‘starter kit’ to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store.

Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, either Keurig coffee makers with k-cups or standard coffee makers, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, co2/fire detectors, and most homes have heat available.

While on vacation, we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and we feel in order for our guests to do this, they should also feel informed. Our emails serve to educate you on your vacation rental home, the surrounding area, responsibilities, what to expect and how to get in touch with us. We respect your privacy so our emails help provide you with all you need to know to reference as you please.

In addition, most of our properties have House Manuals detailing specific information about the property, amenities and responsibilities. Not to mention an awesome section on attractions, events, restaurants and more to help guide you during your stay in San Diego!

The team was able to accommodate our request for an early check in. This was very beneficial because on check in day I had a business trip up to Los Angeles and my wife was able to relax at the unit instead of having to wait in the lobby of the hotel for 5 hours!!

We had a wonderful time staying here with our 2 adult children! Location was great! Property was exceptionally clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully equipped, etc. Enjoyed using the bikes for a morning ride along the boardwalk or to the nearby cafe. Rental includes everything needed for the beach! Checking in and out of the property was simple and convenient. The only thing we missed was having a larger more private outside deck or area to have our morning coffee, etc. But still a wonderful place to stay!!

Please note our policies:

Summer 2020 Booking Policy: 

Saturday to Saturday required with 6-7 night reservations. On July 4th 2020, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. Friday or Sunday arrival/departures ONLY over the holiday.
*Please contact us if your plans differ from this policy to see if we may be able to accommodate your request.

Nightly Minimum Policy:
4 night minimum required in the off season. 
6 nights AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Arrival on Friday or Sunday instead may be an option.

(Please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!)

Arrival/Departure Policy:
Check in time is 3 pm and strictly enforced. (From June-August, check-in is at 4pm)
Check out time is 11 am.


Please follow all instructions for your arrival and departure in our email and phone call correspondence. There is signage around the home to assist with the use of amenities and questions that you may have during your stay. We are available too, even after hours-give us a call!
