Below you will find details about our 1 bed/ 1 bath home, Cj’s Ocean Oasis, located in the heart of Pacific Beach near the Law Street Bluff.

This lovely lower story duplex home is just 5 blocks from the beach and has an ocean view patio area, allowing you to fully enjoy the California lifestyle! On your patio there is an outdoor shower, patio chairs, an umbrella and a BBQ so your evenings and afternoons can be spent relaxing at home listening to the sound of the waves. Upon entering Cj’s Ocean Oasis there is a comfortable living room with high ceilings, exposed beams, plenty of natural light and a new 50 inch high resolution flat screen TV. There are two portable AC units, a 12K BTU unit is in the living room and a 10K BTU unit is in the bedroom. The bedroom also has a large flat screen HD TV.  A queen sofa bed with an upgraded gel-infused memory foam mattress allows for extra sleeping room. The kitchen has hardwood cabinets, granite countertops, appliances, utensils, and everything you need for cooking and eating at home around the dining table for four. The bedroom has a sumptuous pillow top king size bed with a large flat screen TV.

We provide two adult beach cruiser bicycles for exploring the miles of boardwalk beginning at Law Street and running along the ocean and 4,000 acre Mission Bay Park. You can walk the short 1/2 block to the beach with the provided beach chairs, towels, and sand toys and spend the day. Nearby there is Palisades Park, which was voted best beach overlook for watching the sunsets and the surfers. It is only minutes away from SeaWorld, the world famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Old Town with it's excellent restaurants, Belmont Park and it's authentic 1920's wooden roller coaster, Seaport Village, downtown San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter, the Convention Center and Petco Park.

Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed)  

*NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Please review your rental agreement for complete details and rules about your home!

It is important for you to read all the details about your property. We highlight everything you need to know about your vacation rental in our listing, through emails, some home manuals, in-home signage and phone correspondence. We want our guests to feel prepared, informed and at ease while staying with us. We are always available if you have questions! 

Upon confirming your booking, we will send you a rental agreement for your upcoming stay which you will need to complete. We will also contact you within 24 hours of the booking to obtain contact information and to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your upcoming visit along with the House Rules & Rental Agreement. The check-in details will not be shared until the rental agreement has been signed.     

If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All of our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.

With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and our business unlike any other!

We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a ‘starter kit’ to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store.

Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, either Keurig coffee makers or standard coffee makers, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, co2/fire detectors, and most homes have heat available.

While on vacation, we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and we feel in order for our guests to do this, they should also feel informed. Our emails serve to educate you on your vacation rental home, the surrounding area, responsibilities, what to expect and how to get in touch with us. We respect your privacy so our emails help provide you with all you need to know to reference as you please.

In addition, most of our properties have House Manuals detailing specific information about the property, amenities and responsibilities. Not to mention an awesome section on attractions, events, restaurants and more to help guide you during your stay in San Diego!

The staff at Nancy's Vacation Rentals is always friendly and professional. I appreciate the courtesy calls at check in and before check out. The are always available to answer questions or address issues if they come up.
This is my 3rd time staying at this property and I LOVE IT! Beautiful, clean, cozy, quiet. Perfectly appointed with everything you'd need for a fun, relaxing beach vacation. And the house sits just far enough back from the road that you don't get much road noise or foot traffic noise (which is heavy on the weekends, Law St is a popular street to park on for beach goers and surfers) The mattress on the bed has seen it's better days, but if you like soft mattresses you'll love this bed. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'd need to cook meals, although there are tons of places to eat within a 10 minute walk of the rental. The lovely little garden area out front is perfect for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. My favorite activity is going down to Law St park at dusk and watching the sun set. The most gorgeous sunsets you'll ever see take place right here, in this little quiet strip of Pacific Beach!! I can't wait to return next year!

Everyone was very professional and incredibly responsive. The team made things so easy for us and was always upbeat and pleasant.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. It was a perfect size for the two of us. The unit is in a great neghborhood, busy but not nuts. The outdoor space was lovely and the 45 second walk to the beach and walking paths couldn't have been more convenient. The unit was very clean and held all the amenities we would expect. Highly recommend this unit for those seeking a beach escape. Great spot. Great unit.

Everyone at Nancy's Rental's was a pleasure to deal with -- everyone. Each call or email was promptly and professionally responded to and every need I had was taken care of.... a rare thing these.
The property is just beautiful! -- clean and spacious. We had everything we needed and wanted there. The kitchen was great and it was so nice to be able to cook dinner and just relax at the end of a great day on the beach. There is nothing nicer than sitting out on the patio in the mornings or evenings listening to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach and the beach is one of the best beaches we have ever been to!

Holiday Policy: 
6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 18-January 3).
One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year's Day.

Summer 2021 Policy:
Saturday to Saturday required with 6-7 night reservations.

Nightly Minimum Policy:
4 night minimum required in the off season. 
6 nights AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Arrival on Friday or Sunday instead may be an option.
